  Went out for dinner for a family members birthday. Service was horrible and seemed as if there was no pride in the restaurant at all. My uncle and myself personally ordered burgers which were burnt to the point of needing to be returned and the clam chowder which was ordered by my aunt and sister tasted as if it was left on high and burnt to the bottom of the pot. We ordered the kids chicken fingers and fries for my nephew, which surprisingly came out in better shape then anything else we had ordered. After we returned the food, we asked that the manager/person in charge come and speak to us about the experience/food quality, which took her over 20 minutes. Was resolved with taking the burnt items off the menu and still charging us for the chicken fingers! We all ended up leaving Earls with a bad experience and decided to Celebrate the birthday dinner elsewhere at Kelly O'Bryans who were happy to to make that possible with a good meal, hospitality and even a free Birthday appetizer. As of now I will not be returning this location or any in that case if the quality continues to lack at Earls.

  Very disappointing. We went in for the first time last night with high expectations.(the couple we were with have attended earls at other locations and have been very impressed) We each ordered the ribs and Cajun chicken meal ($35/plate) and the food took a very long time. It turns out they were letting it cook long enough to be burnt. The potato salad was brown and tasted horribly burnt and the ribs were black and inedible on each end. They brought us each new potato salad and it was better, It still had burnt flavour and chunks of charcoal. The potatoes in this new salad were hard, we didn't complain about the second potatoes though as they were said significantly better.
  
  Half of two racks were left on the plates and chunks of raw potato. This meal was expensive but not worth it. They ended up giving us a discount on our meal, but my husband who will eat generally anything, could not finish his ribs because they were so burnt. The waitress took them to show the chef and they argued and we were told that we already got a discount so he doesn't get them replaced. A discount is nice, but we went to eat an incredible meal and that was what we would have liked. If one of the chefs were served this meal elsewhere I'm certain they would not accept it.
  
  Throughout the meal we never saw a manager, which surprised us as we had all sorts of complaints. Very displeased with this location and will most definitely not return.

  Ordered dynamite roll to start, it was hard and not appetizing at all, the main meal we ordered an Alfredo, was absolutely horrible we couldn't Even finish. When we told the waitress she was kind enough to take both off the bill. After we tipped, over 25% as I'm a server and totally get the fact that things mess up. We said sorry for the complaint for food, and she went on to ask us if we have been to earls before and was snotty about it. We eat at earls all the time and just left the one in Richmond a few days before so we know what the food tastes like at earls. Which we kindly told her. She was about to argue and was being condasending... #Don't like her attitude and wish I would have known about it before I tipped over 20%.

  Bad, Bad, Bad!
  The food is getting worse every time we visit. The last visit, The wings were cool, and the Parm dip tasted much different than usual. Then the main course came, and the pasta was room temprature, and they took our pasta back to redo it, and 15 minutes later they brought it back, the same way, room temperature, and it looked like they retost the pasta in the cool sauce again, and the whole dish began to really look bad, we sent the dishes back, ate some of the chicken which was much warmer, and left.
  
  I am a fan of Earl's and frequent their establishments where ever I travel, but I will not give the Vernon restaurant another chance, unless things change drastically.

  The food was very subpar for the price. Sauce on both the mac & cheese and the penne alfredo was almost nonexistent and , in both cases, very under seasoned. This, combined with an unattentive and argumentative wait staff, made it clear we will not be returning.
